Miraa House welcomes volunteers. If you like working as part of a team to support young women with an intellectual disability, then this could be for you.
Our aim is to help young women living with intellectual disability to become more independent and to assist them in participating actively in the community.
Whatever your interests and skills may be, we are sure that we can find something that will suit you. Whether it be for a couple of hours or a day, in our life skills program, craft classes, marketing, fundraising or administration – you will make a difference.
Volunteering at Miraa House would also be an ideal platform for work experience if you are studying in the field of special education, social work, speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychology.
